Ok enough memes for me. Im a senior ML engineer, started with sutton on ‘15 and contributed to Tensorflow on early days and went to quantitative finance on two sigma and then on my own. Transformers have no predictive power and fail utterly on real markets, so I always worked on research of alternative architectures. Last work was a World Model inspired on Biology and quite similar to the jev approach. First use case for me on finance since I have access to real infra and data to bench and do evals on it if got access.
