I’ve built Asbestos Review, why you ask, ive been working in the asbestos industry over 20 years so naturally was easy place to think of something for jev to do. a Windows desktop app, using Jev to help asbestos professionals review PDF plans of work. The interface has document inputs on the left, the original PDF in the centre, and review flags on the right. Clicking a flag jumps to the relevant page and highlights the passage. Jev provides the reasoning behind the review. The app extracts the document text, retrieves relevant material from a library of HSE guidance, and asks Jev to judge whether that guidance applies and whether the proposed work conflicts with it. Potential conflicts go through a second verification step before becoming flags. We haven’t fine-tuned Jev or changed its weights. We’re using its existing capabilities with contextual evidence and structured judgments
